doing this kind of work i maen hidding i.p is illegal ? i download lots of stuff from torrent so i am scare of getting my i.p hack i want to use this software to prevent others fram looking my i.p thats all ......is it an better option

There are lots of benefits from hiding your IP some of them include:

Don't worry. just delete your torrent files (.torrent) from your computer after opening it into torrent client..

Difference between a proxy and a ip address???
An IP address is your identification on the internet, every data transfer on the web has a source and a destination ip address. (it originates from somewhere and has a specific destination)
A Proxy is a service (as neo described) which acts like a "layer 4 router" between a clients request and the destination. The client contacts the proxy instead of the destination and tells the proxy to do the data transfer.
